Where and by whom are your Design items made?
All RT Facts Design furniture is designed and handmade by us right here in Connecticut. We have a small team of craftspeople, each with a specific expertise, who take great care in their work in order to satisfy the needs of each individual client. That attention to detail is reflected in the quality of each piece.
From where do you source your antiques?
We source our antiques all over the country. We do some traveling but after being in the business for over three decades, they often find us!
I'm interested in selling to you, what's my next step?
We are always looking for treasures. Please email images, dimensions, any pertinent information you have on an item to rtfacts@rtfacts.com and we will get back to you if we'd like to move forward. We do not take consignments, we purchase outright.
Do you offer a trade discount?
Yes, we offer a trade discount to practicing architects, interior designers, decorators and landscape designers. Please click here to apply for our Trade Program and we will get back to you regarding approval.
Can I rent, loan or take an item out on approval?

What is your hold policy?
We are happy to hold an item for you for up to seven calendar days, after which point the hold automatically expires. If you decide not to move forward with a piece prior to the hold expiring, please let us know.
Can I download Tear Sheets, CAD and Line Drawings?
Yes, you can view these items under the Downloads tab on each product page. If you do not see drawings listed here, please reach out, as we may be able to create one for you. There is usually a fee for custom drawings.
How do I check the status of my custom order?
We encourage you to reference the estimated completion date on your invoice to learn when your item(s) should be complete, as opposed to reaching out. We work very hard to meet these completion dates, are rarely late and are sometimes early. If there is any delay in production of your item(s), we will reach out to you immediately.
How do I check the status of my in-stock e-commerce order?
If you've made a purchase directly through our website via e-commerce for in- stock item(s), you will receive an order confirmation via email. Please allow us five business days to package your item(s) and to email tracking numbers to you. Items shipping UPS are sent from Kent, CT and are typically delivered between one and five business days, depending on the delivery address's proximity to CT.
Do you accept returns?
All sales are final.
What are your payment options and requirements?
We accept all credit cards and charge a 3% processing fee. Alternatively, you can pay by check, wire transfer through the link in your invoice or via Venmo without a fee.
For in stock items, 100% payment is due. If your design item(s) has a lead time, we require at least 50% payment, which kicks off your lead time. The balance is due before the item is released for collection or delivery.
Do you charge Sales Tax?
Unless you have a valid resale certificate or RT Facts will receive a bill of lading proving that the item is to be shipped out of state, we are required to collect State Sales Tax for items shipped to NY, MA, PA as well as within CT.
Can I make a change to my custom order?
If you need to make a change to a custom order, please reach out to us as soon as possible to find out where we are in production and if a change can be made. Keep in mind that there will most likely be a change order fee.
Can the RT Facts team help me decide what size or finish options are best for my space?
Yes! We are always happy to help you with sizing and finishing decisions. We also have a few resources for you to use in order to determine the size item that is best for your needs. Please see below and click through to the one that suits you.

What are my shipping and pick up options?
Please click here to learn more about options for getting your item(s) to it's destination safely. You may pick up from us Tuesday - Friday. Please give us 24 hours notice by emailing logistics@rtfacts.com
